You need to cut off the sleeve but not all the way. Then you need to thread it using a 14x1 left hand thread die. You only need to cut off just a hair under an inch. You only need to cut off just a hair under an inch. so the sleeve isnt just threaded on and then welded in place? how do you cut off the sleeve without damaging the barrel?
