armorshrike 1
Would anyone recommend putting a Tasco reddot scope on my AK? Any ups and downs? Also, should I use a Picatinny Rail for mounting onto my AK? streetfrog1 0
Get one of the quick release rails rather than the ones with the set screws. Goto www.M1surplus.com . as far as a scope goes get their Leapers 3x9x50 with lighted reticle. its sale is $69 and change. The reticle lights up 3 shades of red and green and the reticle is a range finding crosshair. I have that setup and it is the absolute shiznit. Trust me you will love it. heres the links scope http://www.m1surplus.com/scope%20lpscp395aomdlts.htm For the side rail setup goto http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=94625174 The seller is Gilbert Guns. jamesavery22 54
What scope/sight you should get depends on what you want to do. For a reflex sight the Ultimak Scout mount is popular: http://www.ultimak.com/m1-b.htm

jamesavery22 54
Aimpoint and Eotech are the big names. The Russian made Kobra sight is a popular choice for AK's. http://www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=4&f=
buckmeister 11
The red-dot you highlighted is the same as a SPOT and Burris. I have both mentioned, and if this example is as good, it will serve you well. buckmeister
