swiftvision 0
Seriously...where is the "HOW TO CONVERT" thread??? Everyone says "don't use this one: http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/index.htm " Because it's not on a shotgun.....well.....what are the differences in the install then? And what the hell is step 8 about? A bullet guide? I'm guessing this isnt' needed. Also do you have to drill out all four pins in the reciever? And replace them? Will my gun smith have these laying around?
JBONE 0
basically the same. You will see what to do as soon as you pull the bottom trigger plate off. Its pretty self explanatory. You have to take the factory trigger parts out first though. JBONE
JoeBud 0
I just typed these up. Maybe they will help a little. Saiga 12 conversion
Cesiumsponge 0
Who is "everyone" in this case? JMany here condone using the website that you plugged with a note that certain steps are to be omitted. It's basically the best illustrated writeup that exists right now. The rivets you drill out for the pistol grip actually amount to drilling out the expanded shoulder and pushing the remainder out now that it's no longer being held on. The rivets on the bottom are completely shaved off and punched out. Replacements are most commonly machine screws or a pop rivet. Also take a look at this thread: Conversion Steps Unfortunately there is no moderator to make it a sticky, so it's buried deep down in the muck.

hardcorps1775 1
man, usmc needs to bump that thread back to the top. i'd do it but he didn't want people to post on his thread...
KySoldier 2
That website worked fine for my S-12 conversion, my friend's 7.62x39 conversion, and will soon be used on my Saiga 308. I guess I like photos.
