Ronswin 26
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience ordering parts from Black Market Parts Was wondering about quality of the stock sets primarily. TIA for any help Black Market parts is another side business of the owner of Special Weapons LLC. Stocks sets should be fairly decent, however I would not order operational parts from them that are available elsewhere. Todd Bailey's HK parts (extractors, springs, pins etc.) are sometimes inferior to Pakistani (POF) manufacture and can cause weapon malfunctions.
keyser223 0
Thank you, that is precisely what I thought. I remember buying parts from Blackthorne that I thought to be one of their companies and when I got the parts my fears were confirmed. The quality was very poor and those were stocks as well. I saw after posting this yesterday that they were in the same state and area code as Bobcat, Special Weapons, etc.... So today I went ahead and purchased POF parts. Thanks again. Ronswin 26
Gordon Miller is a reputable HK parts dealer and been around for quite some time. His parts are not cheap, but they are authentic HK factory items. I've called him to diagnose a cranky Special Weapons SP-10 and he provided the right parts to make it run 100%. http://www.hkspecialist.net/index.htm
U.S. Pratorean 1,234
Yes, this is another "company" associated or operated by t. bailey. Cosmetic parts are OK but as mentioned, do not get any fire control parts because he subs those out from non-domestic sources and they really suuucckk. POF, Rimfire Country, RTG parts or Gordon Miller or Adam Webber will provide top quality parts. They are however HK or parts licensed through HK, i.e. non-domestic.{922 compliance} if that applies. The previous mentioned non-domestic items are NOT HK licensed and probably come from some cave in Afganistan.
