Norseman 0
Does anyone have a source for a decent price on 7.62x54R brass? I have had very little luck finding any. Even loaded ammo with brass cases seems kind of scarce. Thanks -E

It's a lot better than buying Norma.

aresv 49
Have you considered getting set up to reload Berdan? There are hardened steel claw type tools that will pick out a berdan primer, or alternatively you can rig up a hydraulic ram. I think surplusrifle.com has some articles on it. Berdan primers can be mail ordered and they're not expensive, but shipping can be harsh because of hazmat charges. If you're serious about working up custom loads for 7.62x54R, why not get some of brass cased milsurp and play with it?
Norseman 0
I wasn't really looking for getting that serious about the round. I was more looking for an economical hunting load and some target loads. I really don't shoot all that much x54r I just need to get some loaded up just in case. Thanks Ragnarock there were a coupl of sites there I hasd not been to, and of course that had exactly what I was looking for. -E
