Cobra 76 two 2,677
The one at the bottom will do just fine if you don't have access to a welder or would like to keep your options open.
righttoown 0
Cobra, If you were doing a sidefolder conversion where they cut the rear to the proper angle and weld it would you only need the top bracket in the picture?
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Yeah if I were going that route....otherwise with the new style Ace internal blocks, cutting the receiver to the "correct angle" isn't necessary. You ust need to cut the tang off the rear trunnion.
Bayoupiper 738
I'm going with the bottom cut-the-tang block myself. We will see how it looks when Will gets done with it.
righttoown 0
Yeah if I were going that route....otherwise with the new style Ace internal blocks, cutting the receiver to the "correct angle" isn't necessary. You ust need to cut the tang off the rear trunnion. So if you were going to weld it for a sidefolder conversion you would have to have the receiver cut to the correct angle, cut the tang and could use the Tromix SPG 34 receiver backing plate and the Tromix SPG38 folding stock mechanism and then this would fit to a Tromix SGP44B stock. Or you could just cut the tang off the rear trunnion and use the Tromix SPG43 stock adapter with the SPG38 folding mechanism and the stock? Would the welded way be stronger than the internal block? Thanks for your help!
