Jefe73 0
Just got myself a Saiga 410. Several questions- 1- Where does one go to find "inexpensive ammo"? I am going to shoot gun in three gun. Looking for slugs and #6- 7 1/2 or so shot. 2- Do 2 3/4" shells work well in the Saiga 410 with 3" mag? My mags are for 3" shells. Most of what I am finding is 2 3/4 inch. I know from experience that 2 1/2" shells are "problematical". Thank you for any assistance.
6x6pinz 4
I picked up some Nobel Sport shells from the Armory http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/shot.html and have real good luck with them in my 410. Don't know about 2 3/4 all the rounds I have are either 2 1/2 or 3 used in corresponding mags and they work well. The S410 is my favorite dove gun.
rd99fxdl 17
The 2 3/4 Steel cased ammo is actually a hair lnger than the 3" plastic cased. You would need to run it in a 3" mag. I just picked up some silver bear and am looking forward to feeding it to see how it does.
bugeye 2
+1 on the Silver Bear slugs and buck. Not only are the best to shoot, it is pretty reasonable too. Get it at the Sportsmans Guide. I LOVE the way those big steel shells fly out the Saiga. It always draws a crowd!
