FreakyBig 0
I need to order an ACE folding mechanism to use with a Tromix stock on an AK. I don't have experience with the ACE folders, should I spend the extra $ for the one with the push button or not?

The same can be said about the pushbutton ones.
moxie1c 3
I like my manual one. It opens and closes like a charm once you get the hang of it. BTW, do not completely close the block if it is not mounted to the stock and the rifle...that was the only time it was hard to open
FreakyBig 0
I'd just be afraid that without the push button, it would not lock open securely. Edited July 29, 2008 by Freaky
gtnichols 51
It works fine without the push button, you use the top of your leg or something to push on to release the springs,..no fiddling looking for a button,..

moxie1c 3
Nah, it has a very positive lock open. The closed lock too. You must manipulate it in a way that seems to be very unlikely to do accidentally but very natural to do consciously.

I'm just used to the push buttons on my krinks.
