TonyRumore 1,332
I am going to run off a batch of stainless steel Saiga-12 magazine floor plates. $8ea shipped. Even if you don't need the U.S. parts count, I think they make the mags look a bit more sanitary anyway. TonyRumore 1,332
I am going to pull this off the market. There is obviously not enough demand (none) to support setting it up on a CNC laser cutter. Edited January 11, 2005 by TonyRumore
Bvamp 604
you should ask if anyone sees a need for floorplates or followers for other AK imported mags like the ones guys are sticking in thier "parts counted to the T" guns that dont realise that high cap with the european floorplate and follower is violating thier imported parts count. TonyRumore 1,332
I run stainless follower plates for my 50AE AR-15 magazines all the time over at the CNC laser cutting place, so I thought it just makes sense when they have a sheet of stainless layed up on the table, might as well cut some other parts at the same time. But, it runs $200 to have them program a new shape in the machine, so if I don't have $200 in business on the product line, it gets deep sixed.
pistonring8 1
There are an aweful lot of us on the 7.62x39 board that could use something like that. I have found followers but not floorplates. I could haved myself the hassle of changing out a perfectly good gas piston if I had US made floor plates!
wjm 0
Tony, I'll take 4 if you decide to make them.

5x5 0
Tony, No one makes a US floor plate for the 5.45x39 mags. There is a huge market if you can make them. Please let me know. Thanks, Ian
froggiefun45 0
i would partake in a 6 round conversion to the tone of about 7 kits Good idea
KySoldier 2
Its a good idea and much easier than replacing some other parts. I think I'd make my own if I needed them.
