Turkey Slayer 0 Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 Ok I got the conversion done I got it all back together cept I couldn't figure out how to get the bolt hold open mech back in. Any tips on this? Also my safty swings all the way up over the dust cover if I'm not careful,Why does this happen? Cobra 76 two 2,677 Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 The safety issue is commonplace. They just do that. A trick you can use to get the BHO back in is to feed a piece of light string (dental floss works well when doubled up for strength) through the middle of the spring coil and tuck both ends down through the BHO slot in the receiver. You can use that to pull the spring down as you feed the trigger axis pin through the trigger sleeve and out through the hole in the side of the receiver. Once it's in place just pull one end of the string and it will all come out. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Turkey Slayer 0 Posted September 29, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 Ah Thank you, what I did with the safty is I took a diamond dremmel bit and a center punch ground out a nice little indent for it, works well still will go over the dust cover but this will be ok.
