I can still use foreign magazines with this setup, correct?

Since the pistol grip is American it won't count against me, right? So I would be fine using foreign magazines and my Surefire mags?

Yup.

I only have the FCG and stock for US made parts, and I'm compliant to use foriegn mags.

Great, thanks for clarifying!

But, I cannot use my 15 round mags until I convert the rifle right? Because that would make it "unsporting"?

thanks

No problem.

Any mag over 10 rounds requires 922r compliance.

It won't count against you, but it will add to the total number of countable parts.

Bringing it to 15 parts total, right??

Would this make any difference in the amount of parts I need to add?? I didn't think it did...

?

If you're adding "counted" parts from the list, that aren't already on a stock Saiga (ex. PG, flash hider/brake), and they're US made, it kind of negates itself. If those same parts are foreign made, then you need to replace an another part.

Example: You plan on using a US made FCG and buttstock for compliance. Then you decide to throw on a foreign made pistol grip. You now have to replace one more counted part, with a US made one, because of that foreign made PG. As opposed to if you used a US made PG, you'd already be set with a US made FCG and stock.

Ah, like I thought man. Thanks for the reply. I get mixed up now and then with foreign vs. USA made, etc. etc.

Cheers
