anymanusa 1
I saw this on a website and it got me wondering: Conversion kit may only be utilized on AK's using folding stocks prior to 11/90 or you must have enough compliance parts to be legal as a folder; assembly otherwise may be in violation of Sec. 922®. I know someone who has a nice bulgarian AK that depends on a US made mag for parts count compliance. He also put a Tapco folder on it to replace the nice Ironwood birch stock that it came with. Is everything cool? tia
WardenWolf 6
Yes, because the gun already had enough US parts before replacing the stock, and the stock counts as a US compliance part as well so he has, in fact, removed an additional foreign part.
