Are there US made followers for the Russian mags? Floor plates? I don't think the piston is interchangeable, but I've never tried. Change your mags to G3 or AR10. Are there US made followers for the Russian mags? Floor plates? Yes, a standard AK piston will work in the .308. You can make your own floorplates. As to followers, Surefires work in the FBMG and Russian mags, but I don't think Surefire will sell them separately. I don't think the piston is interchangeable, but I've never tried. Change your mags to G3 or AR10. They're cheaper and compliant with the adapter. AFAIK, (except for Thermolds) G3 magazines are foreign made - no 922r help there. I also don't think the AR-10 conversion would be that cost effective (unless you already have an AR-10 and want to use the same mags for both). YMMV.
