bshoop13 0
I will be in the market for a saiga shot gun in the near future. I currently own a saiga .223 and love everything about it. Was gonna look for either a 12 or 20 ga. but i dont know to much about shot guns so i have a few questions. Do these have the same reliablility as the saiga rifle? If i convert it to a pistol grip config are the compliance laws the same on a shot gun? how much will a 12 or 20 ga. set me back? Any insight would be very much appreciated. jrmy_1 0
Did they change this recently becuase i looked at this website http://www.nysrpa.org/nygunlaws.htm when i first started thinking about the shotgun and it says: a semiautomatic shotgun that has at least two of the following characteristics: (i) a folding or telescoping stock; (ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon; (iii) a fixed magazine capacity in excess of five rounds; (iv) an ability to accept a detachable magazine; Yes, since it already has a detachable magazine, converting to a pistol grip now has two of the listed characteristics and would be a banned firearm. bshoop13 0
ok i misread it. ny's gun laws are so f'd up . i dont see much difference between a shot gun and a rifle so i dont understand why the laws would be different, but maybe im just missing their point(if they even have one).
