bshoop13 0
I am having trouble trying to figure out why my saiga .223 is denting the neck of the brass cases. i wanted to start saving my brass for reloading in the future but they are damaged to the point that there is no saving them. is anyone else having the same problem? banshee 69
I am having trouble trying to figure out why my saiga .223 is denting the neck of the brass cases. i wanted to start saving my brass for reloading in the future but they are damaged to the point that there is no saving them. is anyone else having the same problem? Pictures would be helpful, but most small dents will not hurt them. Even a crease in the shoulder area isn't a disaster, as long as the brass isn't folded over on itself where the case material would get mashed together on firing, instead of being straightened back into its normal shape. Consider what happens to a cartridge case that is being fire-formed to a new chamber! Nothing except a nice case that has it's shoulder, etc. radically changed.
