handlebar 0
I have the original Russian 10 rounder that came with my Saiga .223. Where can I get the follower, spring and base plate so I will have more compliance parts? I have looked, but obviously in the wrong places. Handlebar
tom-j 0
It might be easier to use a US made magazine, that way you will get three compliance parts instead of two. (The spring is not a compliance part) Edited December 22, 2008 by tom-j
handlebar 0
I have two US mags and am compliant to 9 parts. If I change the follower and base I will still be at 10 parts and have the extra mag. Can I get a follower and base plate anywhere? handlebar 0
I want the parts b/c I have put on a Tapco Intrafuse stock with pistol grip. I already have a Tapco handguard of the Galil style, and Surefire Mags (30 rounders). That brings compliance parts to 9. Should I use the original mag, it goes back up to 11 and then non-compliance. That is why I would like to swap mag parts-to stay at 9. I have two US mags and am compliant to 9 parts. If I change the follower and base I will still be at 10 parts and have the extra mag. Fett 0
I'm no expert, but as I read 922r, if you go back to the standard 10 round factory mag, you no longer have a compliance issue. 922r compliance lets you use larger mags. If you're not using them, then you don't hae to worry about compliance.

The PG itself takes the rifle out of its "sporting" configuration. So unless one plans on removing the PG every time they remove their 10+ round mag, 922r still applies. Fett 0
Wow, I am truly sorry for the bad info! I just went back and re-read 922r and ya'll are absolutely right. I'm still learning. (Maybe I should shut my mouth until I know more!) Edited December 28, 2008 by Fett
