squeak003 0
i noticed when u move your trigger forward it removes the stop for the safety. is there a fire control group that has a stop so the safety wont rotate too far??
IndyArms 10,186
I never had any problems with the G2 FCG in my S20 conversion...
nalioth 405
The safety stop is part of the magazine release tower. You don't have to mess with this at all during a conversion. If you do choose to go to a one-piece military trigger guard with mag release and all, you'll need to a) reuse the safety stop from the Saiga buy a safety stop to use with the milsurp trigger guard. SaigaNoobie 66
He means the tab on the disconnector that prevents the safety lever from moving under the dust cover. That piece is missing on the G2

nalioth 405
No aftermarket trigger set has it. It's not a functional issue, but an aesthetic one.
IndyArms 10,186
The safety will still catch on the side tabs of the trigger itself... not on the disconnector... Remember... this mirrors a mod designed to remove trigger slap... cutting off that tab on the rear of the disconnector... http://www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/slapfix.htm No worries, mate... Your safety will be just fine without that tab on the disconnector...
pdbh171 0
Arms of america stocks ak47 full auto fire control groups... http://www.armsofamerica.com/ak47barrelspa...psfullauto.html. Provided one has the Proper "papers", will these function for a saiga?
IndyArms 10,186
They are doing a CYA... There is no law against owning a full auto trigger set... you CANNOT USE IT in a semi auto rifle... without drilling the third pin hole... and even then, you dont have all the parts you would need to make your rifle FA anyways!!! The real point is... it is NOT 922R compliant, They are still a FOREIGN TRIGGER GROUP! Why bother?!?!? It is NO CHEAPER than a G2... and probably not as smooth either...
