lithium 0
I just got my 7.62x39 in today from my local pawn shop. It was $230 USD. I bought 100 rounds and when't through them in like a half hour. I relly like it and plan to get a scope any suggestions? Another question pertaining to bolth guns, when you pull the bolt caryer back and pull the triger why dose it hold the bolt open? This would make the bolt hold open device kinda useless right? but it only stays held back on my 7.62 on the 12ga it hold but the slight'st jerk sends it back to the closed posistion any 1 know why that is? well enuff yappin here are my guns. jd1 2
When you pull the trigger it is causing the hammer to ride up against the bolt carrier. The hammer is still captive, it just goes up enough to put tension on the bolt carrier. IIRC on my SAR3 I had to remove my cover and use a cleaning rod to push the hammer down to get it to release the bolt carrier. It's not a replacement for a hold open just how it works if you do it that way. jd1
5x5 0
If your looking for a red dot, go with the Kobra or the PK-AS. For magnification I would look at the PSO 1.5-4.5X16. -Ian
gunslinger308 0
For the 7.62x39 I would use a russian 4 powered fixed scope or a russian red dot. The low power really does well with that cartridge!

Pointer 21
If you have a 10rd in a 30rd body, just take the floor plate off the mag and remove the block inside the mag. Edited February 6, 2005 by Pointer
