hallboss 1
My dad was cleaning his closet out and found his first gun. He called me over and gave it to me. Never seen one before and thought I would ask here. It is a tube fed, bolt action J Stevens .410. Anyone? Thanks, Darin

VanKiller 322
Clean the chamber real well before you shoot that one.......they were great for losing the extractor off the bolt when the cases stick and then someone yanks on them, also they are usually 2 1/2 shells only. Other than the that they were fine little shooters in their day...............uhhh, so some ol gunsmith told me...................LOL....VK

BronCobraJet 80
I've got 4 of them, 1 - .410 break open single shot, 1 - .410 bolt action magazine fed model 58a, 1 - 12 gauge break open single shot, and 1 - 20 gauge break open single shot. I inherited them when my dad died. They are in pretty sad shape, with no blueing on them. He had just stored them in a closet and I don't think he ever maintained them properly at all. I found a couple of mags for the .410 a few years ago at Sportsmans Guide. No one else had them that I could find, made of unobtainium. I think my project tommorrow will be to clean and oil them all up, and then back in the display case they go. They are kind of cool, though.
