Firing pin replacement

Recommended Posts

The new Tromix S-12 firing pins should be available at the end of August. It's a fairly complex part to build. These aren't ground down drill rods or filed off nails. They are Swiss machined, and heat treated. The company making them also makes pins for other major gun manufactures. Estimated price is $24. There will be 500 made in the first run. Hopefully, guys will choose to pick up a spare or two, otherwise the project will end up still-born like some of the other bad ideas I have had.

Tony, I'll take at least one, likely two... I'm a packrat when it comes to spare parts

This is not a bad idea. I will be taking several. Step one is to replace the pin that I have before it has a chance to break. Hopefully you will have CSS sell them for you, I love Gregg's fast shipping.

Tony, as soon as I see an announcement here on the forum that they are in stock and ready to ship, with a firm price, I'll order 2 also.

Some parts it's only smart to order 2 when you can get them. Waiting until after your gun is down, then searching for the part you need in stock somewhere can be depressing.

BTDT.
