Doc Holiday13 0
So I'm about to pull the "trigger" if you will and convert the saiga. I see a lot of convoluted conversions out there so lets see if I can get this right for a 922 compliance Tapco G2 Trigger Tapco SAW grip USA made SS gas tappet. USA made barrel extension threaded for rem chokes Am I missing anything? As long as I follow the conversion videos on youtube I should be fine right?
clifton 354
looks like you need a hand guard and US Stock.
Azrial 1,091
Well you certainly need a stock, but you will have plenty of parts without the hand guard, not that this not a nice addition!

Doc Holiday13 0
Does the SAW grip come with a nut to install it or will I have to find a piece of hardened steel in my garage and thread it then weld it in?
ChileRelleno 7,071
Does the SAW grip come with a nut to install it or will I have to find a piece of hardened steel in my garage and thread it then weld it in?You are better off buying a Tromix DIY trigger guard, it comes with a built in fitting and screw, specifically designed for the SAW PG.That or you can buy a bolt/fitting combo for the SAW PG, such as here, http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/se...IP-SCREW/Detail OH Yeah, I would'nt weld something like a PG onto my gun, there are VERY FEW things I would weld onto a firearm. Think long and hard before permanently attaching anything to the receiver... e.g. what if you inadvertently strip the fitting/screw out? Doc Holiday13 0
So after viewing the you tube video last night, it appears I need to also purchase a axis pin retaining plate This puts a basic build/conversion sheet down to this trigger kit pistol grip pistol grip nut buttstock axis pin retaining plate Barrel extension
