Ammo Less Than $135 for 500 Rounds
Doc Holiday13 replied to paprotective's topic in Reloading and Ammunition
i happen to have few thousand extra rounds of Federal 223/5.56 that I forgot to take out of my shopping cart last order i placed (I do group buys with a small group of competition shooters which is how I missed a few thousand rounds) I'll sell off in 500 round lots for $185 shipped to your door -
that will knock out 2 birds with one stone then.. What kind of glue did you use? I imagine some gorilla poly glue would be best in this application

So I like the look of the galil handguard, but when I added it to the S12, I noticed a huge gap on both sides of the barrel. I'm probably going to shave the top half of the guard off to bring it down a bit, but there will still be a huge gap there. Do you guys just run with it or did I buy the wrong handguard somehow?

Payload is very important keep in mind. I've found that 7/8 oz slugs don't keep pressure up long enough to fully eject the spent shell. I used red dot and blue dot. I'm attempting to get my hands on a 1 oz mould and 1.2 oz mould to see which work better

I AM SOOOO UPSET RIGHT NOW!!!!! UUGH!!!!! Mike is so unfair!!! I haven't gotten my ammo stockpiles up to par yet and he sends me a friggin email saying my drum has shipped. I don't have enough ammo to feed it right now

I have feeling this thread is about to become littered with "Got mine today" posts. Keep 'em coming Mike I ordered in late Feb and I'm still waiting(i'm not even close to bothered that it hasn't shipped). Been considering putting an order for a second one in. But aside from re-quals at work I've shot less than 500 rounds of 223, 7.62x39, 9mm, 45acp, and 12 gauge combined since I placed my order. Mostly at impromptu shoots, and I've been too broke to have a shooting day so I look at it as a blessing in disguise(also haven't spent any time behind the loading bench so ammo stock pi

I'm trying to figure out how he invested that much into it, unless its gold plated

Its just as fun showing them up with my pump action remington 870. I usually bust 24 of 25 on 5 stand. 22 of 25 of trap. Skeet is a different game though. I'm in the 12-15 of 25 range regardless of the gun

TEXAN progressive reloading press...
Doc Holiday13 replied to IndyArms's topic in Reloading and Ammunition
Best part of your post. I will say that all the experienced loaders I know have a MEC and the TEXAN's tend to be finicky, but I'm super glad to hear yours works like a charm -
How many 12 gauge shells should you have
Doc Holiday13 replied to Elkhound's topic in Reloading and Ammunition
Convenience. I have maybe 20 rounds 3 1/2" 12 gauge 00 buckshot, 100 rounds 3 1/2" #4 shot, Then about 300 rounds of birdshot I have one slug that I randomly found in a barrel of used brass. I have a shotshell press but haven't bothered to setup yet -
You stole my punchline! Well according to Jimmy Buffet its 5 oclock somewhere, but in my opinion anytime is a good time to be drinking. I concur with Makc feelings and glad I can express them here

I have a brand new, unconverted 19" S-12 with threaded muzzle. While I do understand a poly choke will tighten the pattern up, the barrel is still shorter than I'm allowed to use at the trap range. Gun is basically brand new. I put a box of low brass #8 shot through it just for patterning and functionality testing. I'm looking to trade my bone stock 19" S-12 for a lightly used bone stock 24" S-12. I understand I'm new here, for reference you can check the sellers/buyers list at www.snipershide.com for user name Doc Holiday13 and www.ar15.com good guy list under user name ProjectNic

So after viewing the you tube video last night, it appears I need to also purchase a axis pin retaining plate This puts a basic build/conversion sheet down to this trigger kit pistol grip pistol grip nut buttstock axis pin retaining plate Barrel extension

Does the SAW grip come with a nut to install it or will I have to find a piece of hardened steel in my garage and thread it then weld it in?
