Hello all, new guy here.. nice to meet yuns'.

What are the major advantages/disadvantages between the Tromix Saiga12 and Mossberg SPX? I have just "inherited" (of sorts) several of copies of both from an uncle.

I'm in the process of reading up on both, but I figured I would sign up with this forum.. it's good to get input from the actual users, as well. 000.gif

Tromix Saiga 12

Magazine fed,handles like a rifle,adjustable gas system

Mossberg SPX

Easy to acquire spare parts, doesn't scare the pusscakes as bad when accidentally seen.Feels like a conventional shotgun(if that's what you are used to)

The Saiga is an order of magnitude more advanced but the sporting models imported to this country are a little low on the QC priority list at Izhmash.A trip to Tromix(or any of the reputable Saiga Tuners on this forum) is all that required to have a shotgun that is light kicking, ultra reliable and can run through a 20rd drum of full of 00 Buck in about 10 seconds if you ate your wheaties that day.

Speak for yourself, I run 4 seconds or less or I feel like a tortoise. :)

Cool, thanks.

I just shot the SPX yesterday, I ran some #00 and #4 buckshot, and slugs through it (as well as about everything else).

My damn shoulder was hurtin' near the end there..

I didn't have time to get to the Tromix.. I'm afraid the Tromix is gonna leave an even bigger mark HA!

Is there much of a market for the Tromix's (SO2?) should I decide to sell?

Thanks.
