SammoH 0
I picked up a cheap clamp-on style bipod for my Saiga from a gun show for $9. It's not metal (abs resin) and it's not exactly pretty but hey, it works. Basically, it was a universal bipod (clamp onto the barrel of any rifle - but it's got a little bit of play yet around the barrel of my 7.62 so I figure it may not work on some rifles with smaller barrel diameters). I know there are better bipods out there but considering I don't exactly do a lot of shooting from a prone position and there are plenty of sandbags at the ranges I frequent, I don't particularly have a need for a fancy bipod right now. One thing that caught my attention though was a mono-pod... that extended to a full height of nearly 6 ft. It was designed to clamp to the barrel of a rifle and then be able to extend all the way to the ground to facilitate steadier firing from a standing or sitting position. I almost bought that... almost.
stevem 0
I got one from CDNN.It's a universal, clamp-on type, but it works pretty good on my 7.62.It's too heavy for offhand shooting, but it's great for prone or bench shooting.I got a scope mount from them too.
