I have a Tapco folder on mine and it works well. It's not heavy duty but it will withstand most users. I also use one on my S1-2 and it takes the recoil.

 

If you get an older one by chance that has a plastic pin Call Tapco and they'll replace it in a few days. That happened to me.

I have that thing on my S12 too and I think that it's a good product for the money. I don't get why more companies don't offer AK folding stocks that don't require you to amputate the back trunnion and install some kind of a plate or adapter though.

Ace makes an adapter that doesn't require tang removal but I'm more than happy with sacrificing the tang after how ridiculously solid my stock is now with the internal block.
