danthemanx 0
Brand new to fire arms, just got myself a saiga 7.62x39. After shooting today I came home and watched an AK field strip video to figure out how to clean my new saiga, but realized I can't remove the gas tube thing like a traditional AK. Does this little flip even move on the saiga or is it ornamental? If I can't remove it, how do I clean it? Can anyone educate me on this issue? thank you!
saigafreake 27
use the thin slot on your cleaning kit holder and it will make it much easier to turn.
danthemanx 0
are you being sarcastic or serious? I went at the thing with a pair of pliers and couldn't get it to budge.

raftman 1
It is even mentioned in the instruction manual. Although the translation job in that little booklet seems to leave a little bit to be desired.
