runningman400 0
I've been thinking about picking up a Gunfixer's gas adjuster knob. I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about them: Do the 4 settings really improve performance? Are they as easy to install as they want you to believe? What are the 4 settings designed for (just varying loads)? Is it as easy to adjust as they want you to believe? Any feedback (good or bad) would be appreciated. Thanks
BUFF_dragon 3
I've been thinking about picking up a Gunfixer's gas adjuster knob. I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about them: Do the 4 settings really improve performance? YUP, hard to believe how much it helps, not only performance but felt recoil as well by not overgassing the gun on heavier loads Are they as easy to install as they want you to believe? unscrew your stock one, screw in the gasfixr, that simple, you couldn't ask for an easier install What are the 4 settings designed for (just varying loads)? pretty much, low brass, high brass, bird, buck and slug.... different guns will operate differently Is it as easy to adjust as they want you to believe? yup, i use either my polychoke adjustment tool, bare fingers, or an allen key, depends on the situation Any feedback (good or bad) would be appreciated. Thanks I will be purchasing one for each conversion that I do to mine.... no doubt I also media blasted mine with the gun and painted it with the rest of the gun... no worries about it being inferior metal or anything goofy, looks great and man it was a great buy

I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about them: Do the 4 settings really improve performance? No having 4 setting really improves the adjustibility. The gun does tend to run smoother as well, I would assume due to more efficient gas flow. Are they as easy to install as they want you to believe? As easy as screwing in one threaded knob in place of another. What are the 4 settings designed for (just varying loads)? Yes. Is it as easy to adjust as they want you to believe? It is easier to adjust then the OEM part. Any feedback (good or bad) would be appreciated. Thanks
Garys4598 1,065
The Gunfixer adjustable gas knob worked fantastically in my Tromix S-20. ~Gary
BpS12 512
I love my Gfers gas plug, it makes shooting most anything a breeze. But do keep it cleaned and oiled or it may tend to freaze up a bit. Nothing a little leverage wont turn but to keep it finger turnable, I'd lube it when you can. Makes it alot easier.
