sjgusmc21 850
I started this last year with just your basic remington 870 field grade 12 guage shotgun. I am a tinker-type of guy, and I can't sit still. So, this is what I have come up with so far. I really like the Aluma-hyde II paint...very forgiving, and if baked in a oven for 1.5 hours at 175 degrees (in my experience), comes out ready to install, though I am sure not fully cured. I used three colors: Dark Earth, Olive Drab, and Coyote. The Coyote color is a bit squirrely, took longer to dry, even in the oven. I haven't shot it yet, but I am no stranger to shotguns/rifles/pistols/C-4/AT4s/.50 Cal/Mk19, etc; etc., so I am sure that this one will hold no surprises for me. I do like the feel of the choate stock much more then the Knoxx stock. Cheek position on the butt stock is much better and it just feels right. Anyway, hope you enjoy half as much as I enjoyed doing this. Semper Fi and be safe!

sjgusmc21 850
Is that the Ergo/Falcon Industries rail system? Looks good, BTW. Yes it is. ERGO GRIP 3-RAIL SHOTGUN FOREND. Thank you all for the compliments. Wish I was back in Texas, as shooting is just another day there. Here in Northern VA, it is expensive and limited to where I can go.
