alphashifter 1
Brand new SGL21-61. There's a spring-loaded wafer in the end of the buttstock (I suspect the cleaning kit goes in there). Instructions reference (but do not illustrate) a container that should come "out of its seat under the tension of spring". Inside is a spring but nothing else. Anybody know if it's supposed to come with the rifle or if it's available separately? Edited December 3, 2009 by alphashifter

I'm still awaiting a reply to my e-mail. I'll try calling in a bit too and post if I find anything out.

This is only the 45-umpteenth report of this. They are SWAMPED due to their currently reduced prices. To the OP - yes, you should have received a cleaning kit in the box. They're usually wrapped in packing materials - you didn't throw it out by mistake, did you?

Open the second rifle box and found one.... went straight back and had to dumpsterdive to dig for the other..... and I just emptied 2 shop vacs full of sawdust in there. lol

Person I spoke with said they do not come with the kit, but she didn't sound totally convinced either...I'll triple check packing materials.
waynebar 52
My rifle didn't come with a kit either. I called K-VAR first, they told me to call Aresnal. Arsenal rep said kits are not included. Part # to order from K-VAR is AK-320R
PRISONSHANK 70
If you look in the manual it says one rifle and a 5rd mag, nothing about a cleaning kit. If you got a kit I'd say your probably lucky. I'm assuming Kvar was adding those or something.
