IronRonin 19
I was just curious as to how difficult it was to install the Chaos Tri-Rail, and if it required and "gunsmithing" at all or if I could do this in my study with basic tools. Is any drilling required? Thanks all.
presto_z 125
very simple installation, all you need is a flat head to remove the forend.. the new one installs using an allen key (if im not mistaken my quad came with one)
tover26 18
Yeah, I put a Chaos tri-rail on my S12. It took all of 4 minutes and required only the allen wrench. There's a screw on the stock forend that you'll need to undo and the forend might stick a bit depending. Whack it really hard with your shoe hammer or an actual hammer and it'll come loose. Almost everything on the Saiga seems to require some whacking. After you remove the factory forend, install the Chaos tri-rail and marvel at how your gun just went from being cool to totally bad ass.
