lollygagger 1
Put a bullet guide IN THE ACTION of the gun. Lollygagger
Onepoint 0
I think he said he did, but it didnt raise the bullet enough. Use a thicker ramp and/or extend it farther into the magwell. 223s are more picky about this because the shell has such a narrow profile. Some have said they have had sucess with JB weld. I have modded Weiger mags to work before I did a ramp by welding a lip on the front so it raisess them enough.
lollygagger 1
Hint: If you have the bullet guide...but it is not hight enough, if it is screwed in: Use aluminum or brass shims under it to raise it. She how that does before you go after another bullet guide. Lollygagger Edited April 1, 2005 by lollygagger

Onepoint 0
Yeah I have mine so I can use both. It sticks out past the notch just a little, but still lets the factory mag seat. Theree is no reason if the guide is too long you couldn't file back the dimple that sticks out flat so it will fit, the bullets ride up on the inside of the lip not the outside.
