I was wondering if anyone knew IF/when K-var would get more converted Saiga Arsenal 7.62x39 rifles in? They seem to have been out-of-stock for awhile now, and I read on their forum that they weren't getting any more (at least, no more of the SL20) in -- see: http://www.migeta.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6386

 

Any ideas?

Arsenal runs in "batches" where they will produce 1 type of gun in said number then retool and produce the next one on the production line. Since they are limited to what they can import or rather when it gets here they can only produce certain guns at certain times. Your best bet is to e-mail them to find out when they will start production on a certain gun. Also you can check with their dealer and see if they have any in stock.

K-VAR has SGL21's in stock. Same rifle but now has the accessory lug for the Russian under barrel grenade launcher.

SGL21 is not exactly the same. It has a Russian AK103 FSB, while SGL20 has a Bulgarian AK74 one. Also, SGL21 comes with an AK103 dust cover, which has an extra ridge, to make it fit more security and seem more solid too. There are other difference too. Basically, SGL21 is closer to a real Russian AK103.
