Bizzarolibe 5 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Share Posted March 6, 2010 ...and Saiga-12.com made it happen. About a year ago I joined this site with an unconverted Saiga. I fought and fought to justify keeping it unconverted (cause I was just a pansy), but eventually gave in. I got all the info/instructions I needed right here, and after 3 successful restorations, I have just helped my first "convert" build his own Saiga AK. Unfortunately, he lives in NJ so we had to keep it to just a PG restoration, but it looks and feels great just the same (just no AK mags, but in NJ you can't use 15+ round mags anyway). He is absolutely ecstatic about it. Here is a pic of the mostly finished product. I say "mostly" because we haven't filled in the holdes from the old FCG pins that we drilled but that's like a 30 second job. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
