7.62X54R 0
I Just got a 7.62 Saiga. Its a good gun my only complaint is the stock feels cheap and hollow. Is there a stock to replace it? Keep in mind I do not want to convert to pistol grip as I am in CA and I dont really like the AK style bullet buttons.

RookieShooter 5
You can get this wood stock at Saigastock. Edited April 7, 2010 by RookieShooter
Klassy Kalashnikov 1,393
Very nice wood. I agree with the OP. I simply don't see the point in converting a Saiga in California. The better trigger is not worth needing a tool to remove magazines.

But we, the people of Republic of Kalifornia, love to have an AK so the lock magazine is not that much of a pain to remove with just a screw driver or an allen wrench. tsc91 9
I've read somewhere on the forum about filling the stock with sprayfoam insulation to get rid of the cheap hollow feel.

Yeah if you're going for the AK style and such, can't fault you on that. Me personally, i go for function mainly on my "shooter" guns and I'd rather be able to quickly change mags at the cost of a grip.
