i want to buy a romanian wire side folding stock for my saiga. but now i think i need to get a rear trunnion. it says that the stock mounts to existing trunnion. but saigas dont have a trunnion. i went to you tube and watched a video of a guy removing a tantal wire stock and he showed a weird looking trunnion that the stock was mounted to. i have spent hours looking for a rear trunnion but cant find what i think i need.

the romanian wire folder, and the tantal stock bolt up just like a fixed stock does.....you do have a rear trunion on your saiga....

As long as the rear of your Saiga accepts standards stamped AK furniture the Tantal, Romanian and East German wire folders will mount right into it. They use the same mounting points that a fixed stamped receiver AK stock does.
