gonna start soon, input...

Recommended Posts

I am going to buy and convert a saiga.223 within the next two weeks. I have been buying parts I'll need, but don't know which direction to go.

I will do a complete conversion like my 7.62...but really want a .223 tactical AK that I can put up against my friends AR's.

this will mean rails, optics, vert forgrip, and probably the MSA adapter.

how about some Idea's to make this build/conversion a one of a kind.

keep in mind that I live in NY...No SBR's, folding stocks, and NO "evil" flash hiders .

I am going to use a Vltor tube and magpul stock pinned in a comfy position.

I want to keep it simple yet tactically effective.

thanks

Midwest industry rails with vert foregrip from Magpul and flash light on the left side of lower handguard.

You could do a dinzag's lower handguard retainer or a chopped retainer from Carolina Shooter's Supply.

You can forward mount a red dot on the upper handguard. get an aimpoint t1 micro.

Hogue AK grip.

The stock that you mentioned.

Blue force gear three point tactical sling.

Don't do the AR mag well adapter.

Just Get Bulgy Circle 10 mags from k-var or some other distributor.

You only need 7. one in the gun 6 in the vest.

+1 I love this grip.

Unfortunately he may not be able to get the Bulgy Circle 10's because he lives in a ban state. I have an MSA mag adapter on one of my 223 Saiga's and it works as advertised.
