jonpin 1
Hello im new to the forum and have been learning alot ,"Great site" I have noticed alot of people have a stock looking forearm with a rail under it, where would I purchase one of those I like the clean look of it ,im not a huge fan of the big clunky quad rails and just want the bottom rail to try the Magpul AFG. I was looking at the surefire tri rail but the bottom rail does not follow the full length of the forarm and I think this would hinder the proper fitting of the grip. and heres a pic of my saiga 12 I have ordered the following from CSS: Tromix trigger group,CSS trigger gaurd, Classic ergo grip, Twisterpuc standard, JTE performance power mainspring, Magpu CTR w/aluminume tube buttstock. I ordered that stuff friday so just waiting to get the stuff and assymble and post more pics
hobbyshooter 59
I like the S12K forearms that I got from Cobra. I got one with a rail for a vert grip and the other is just a standard S12K forearm.
JAldrich2008 28
How about the Tapco Intrafuse forearm? I have one on mine and really like the look of it.
jonpin 1
Thanks for the replys the s12k railed forarm looks good just wish the rail went all the way down for the Magpul AFG I realy like the stock forarms with the rail on tyhe bottom and the tapco one is a little bit square for what im looking for and I dont need the side rails. Chowderhead72 13
If you like the look of the stock forearm why not file/grind/sand a flat on the original guard and install a 6" rail section?
jonpin 1
Yeah I guess i could do that im just not sure I could do it perfectly with the tools I have. I have thought about it
Chowderhead72 13
I just did it on my friend's Remington 597... Looks funny to me on a pencil thin barreled 22 but he loves it.. The add-on rail would look better on a S12, IMO anyhow.

The side rails are removable, but I understand being turned off my the square look.
