YOT 3,743
I am planning to design and build my own thumbhole stock that doesn't "protrude conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon" for my S12. To do this I am considering milling the rear of the receiver to a 45degree angle below the rear trunion. Are there any legal implications invovled in this type of alteration of the receiver? OK this must mean that you have changed out other parts, as long as you have 10 or less you are GTG.... Just remember one thing, once you finish the stock mark it made in the USA somewhere on it.....
