WA-Tom 0
I have a S12 shorty that I am working on, when you fire it it catches the bolt after every shot or every other shot. Not cool. Part of it is because I don't know how the spring is installed I think. Can someone assist? Maybe a diagram or photo showing how the catch is installed would help. Also disregard the other post below, I accidentally posted using my screen name instead of the topic!! Duh...
Fumes 84
If you're talking about the bolt hold open spring, you can go to the carolina shooters supply section and watch the videos Greg has posted. That will show you the proper install of the spring.
WA-Tom 0
Yup that's what I am talking about! Thanks!
Paulyski 2,227
The Trigger's axis pin anchors the spring through the main loop. I like to notch the spot on my BHOs (bolt hold open) where the spring rests on to ensure ease of installation and to ensure that the spring cannot fall off again, like this;
