cbryan 7
So what should I look into next?
gregomega 929
Convert it, throw some nice furniture on there, install a bullet guide, and either thread the barrel or slip a 74fsb w/24x1.5mm threads over it and get a brake/hider, state law willing. Oyeah, and post some pics Or do you mean a different firearm? Edited January 25, 2011 by AZG
grendelz 61
So what should I look into next? Shoot it!!!! and enjoy
thunderheart 1
Shoot it. Definitely. It is a gas to shoot right like it is. Running a few rounds through it before you convert (assuming you want to convert) lets you find any factory defects that might need warranty action before you actually void the warranty. I still haven't got around to my conversion but LOVE shootin' it all the same. Congratulations and enjoy!
DrThunder88 912
Giving it a shakedown shooting in factory configuration is wise, but converting it is almost inevitable.
cbryan 7
What am i looking into as far as problems from the factory?
DrThunder88 912
You're just testing to make sure it works--and it will probably work. Any derivations from normal functioning will be easier to identify as not your fault if you've not already modified the gun.
Hemi348 1
Before you shoot it you should probably strip it down and make sure everything is in working order. I think a member on another site found theirs had some rust in the gas tube. But other than that give it a good cleaning and shoot the piss out of it. x2 before long you will be looking into converting it After that I am sure you will be looking into other calibers Edited January 25, 2011 by Hemi348
