jarrettrocksvt 0
Man I trust very few ammunition manufactuers. I highly recommend Federal or any Georgia Arms remanufactured ammo. Both have worked well for me. Winchester (white box) and Remington (green and white box) are cheap, but make very poor quality ammunition. I have had problems with both. At first I thought it was my weapon, but I have been flawless on over 400 rounds on FED/GA since. Federal is moderately priced, but I would get a can of remanufactured Georgia Arms ammo which is the best for the price. Using poor quality ammuntion scares the living begeezus out of me since I've seen some of its effects at the range.
marsofold 6
Wideners sells Israeli IMI 5.56mm ammo very reasonably by the case, no signature required. And a bit hotter than civilian ammo.
TacSat 90
Good info for a 1in 9 twist. like an AR. Saigas are 1 in 7 and run 55 grain better.. Just alittle extra info.

And a bit hotter than civilian ammo. I haven't bought ammo online before, what do you mean no signature required? is that for receipt when fedex/ups drops it off? Also when you mean hotter are you referring to the higher barrel pressure? ~Jarrett
marsofold 6
Yes. You can order online with a credit card, UPS delivers it and they never require any signature from me unless the sender requires it (which Wideners doesn't). And by hotter I mean slightly higher velocity. Edited March 16, 2011 by marsofold
