G-30 8 Posted March 14, 2011 Report Share Posted March 14, 2011 Ok before I get the use the search responce, I did mister tool I just picked up two of the Surefire 12 round mags, I took them out for the first time and both of them have a failure to feed on the eleventh round. Any ideas on what is causing this, Could it be too little spring tension in the mag? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

hobbyshooter 59 Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 The surefire followers rock screwing with the feed angle. tnek posted about how he fixed his by gluing some plastic shim to the front of the followers. I followed his advice with excellent results. I glued the remaining shim stock I had on his mags, test fired 100 rounds through 2 of his mags with no issues, and he hasn't reported any feed issues with them so far.
