I want to put a dog leg rail on my saiga, and use flip up ar-15 sights. I wnt to mount the front site to my ulti-mak rail and the rear sight on my dog leg what sight combination do I need? Generally speaking people here tend to go with either a Beryl or a gas tube rail. As I recall, Boba Debt did something similar to your plan, but I don't remember if he put iron sights on it. g21322635 2 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 Good luck with that I want to use the iron factory sights but can not get them to go left enough the crapco sight tool wants to rip out of the plastic and I picked up a rail mount like you are talking about at the gunshow and was very heavy. sepherus 0 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Share Posted May 13, 2011 The new dog leg rail and the ultimak are nearly if not the same height. Get a handguard height front sight version of what ever set you like. I'd personally suggest a lower sitting pair for a good cheek weld. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
