NEWB: RETAINER PLATE

Recommended Posts

The retaining plate is used to keep your axis pins from falling out. Did you use a shepards crook instead?

When I bought mine, I showed my dad. He said WHY THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT?! He shot it this weekend after some prodding, and he loved it and went on to say it was the most comfortable rifle hed ever fired. off topic but true.

:cryss: glad you were able to get thos pins out after using the lock tite. I can't say enough of about how much fun these rifles are. watch out as they can become addicting. i started with the 7.62 then sold my .308 to get a S12 then sold my s20 gauge to get the .223. Now if i had the money i would have kept the others as well. I shoot these all the time. along with my 10/22. do more research on this site and you tube on how to strip clean etc. it will be a big help.

here is another good place to get info.
