eseaton 2
I built my Saiga short barreled shotgun a while back and included the Kross 3-railed handguard. (Are they still in business?) The only thing that would have made the handguard better would be a top rail. Wanting to add a red dot sight, I was wondering if there was some sort of rail adaptor that would allow me to attach to the side rail and have that adaptor extend up and over the center of the shotgun and positon a rail over the barrel for the sight. Can this be easily manufactured or is there anything already available that would accomplish this? As always, thanks for the help. eseaton

TonyRumore 1,332
A little late for this now....... Tromix HK rear sight base with picatinny rail extension. You would need to weld up the top cover to keep it from wobbling around, but that should be done anyway, even with the iron sights.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
If you built the shorty then you apparently have access to a lathe. Seems like that same place might have a vert mill and mic....
