skylikins 16
Hi capacity AK mags & drums can be found all over the place. Howerver the mags I love are the 20 round tanker for the short compactness. A 30 round quad would be shorter than the 20 I like to use and would fill a void in the market. The selling point being short compact . I will buy a hand full and think every other AK owner will want one .what do you guys think am I crazy
G O B 3,516
Us Marylanders can only buy 20rd mags in State,so i started with them, buying 30rd and drums later (out of State). The 20rd is a MUCH handier size! The 30's are too long for prone or tight shooting positions, and a bitch to run around the house with! The drums are too heavy for anything but point defense or plinking. A short double stack would rock!
skylikins 16
I assume you ment short quad stack would rock. And yes a short little 30 round quad would be awsome. Imho
rob-cubed 74
I generally shoot for accuracy and use 10-to-15 round mags for bench. I prefer the 20s to the 30s in general because they are handier for prone. I've owned 40-round RPK mags, S-20 and 7.62 drums, as well as 10-round S-12 single stick mags. All are too bulky to be truly useful IMO. Waiting patiently for Mike to come up with something more compact... Edited August 12, 2011 by rob-cubed
