DrThunder88 912
Dogs really are great. They love their owners with every fiber of their being. Like Argos for Odysseus, dogs would endure years of hardship for one last glimpse of the people who had to leave them behind.

Azrial 1,091
Thanks Yakdung, good post and a great testament to a real American Hero and his equally heroic canine. We should all aspire to me the men that are dogs believe we are!
DogMan 2,343
After reading the comments here I've decided I'm not going to click the link. I've just seen too many similar stories and it's depressing. Instead, I'm just going to go hug my dog.
uzitiger 193
Many American troops saved dogs from the Hajjis in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Muslims entertain themselves by using the poor animals for dog fighting. Islam considers dogs to be dirty (look who's talking about dirty) and I read in the 8/11 Reader's Digest about how some dogs were saved from the Afghans and the dogs saved the soldiers lives when they barked and woke them up then attacked the suicide murdering bomber. Those dogs were later rewarded for their brave acts and brought to the US to live with the soldiers who saved them and they saved in return. Some of the dogs were wounded and had to be treated for their wounds from the explosive device but they saved their American owners.
