FatalSylence 8
Hey, there. I am looking at getting the Midwest Industries rail system for my Saiga. The only thing is, I really don't want the top rail at all. I already have the Dog Leg Rail Gen. 2 from TWS and I think it would look kind of lame to have two rails that aren't contiguous and most likely aren't even the same height. So, does Midwest or any other company make a flat(no rails) top handguard that fits with the Midwest Industries lower handguard? Would I just be better off getting the optic specific models? For example, the Primary Arms top mount. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys.

thorherc67 0
they make a universal handgaurd that has a flat top with rails. the optic specific piece doesn't have to be put on. although to get the optics specific rail you will need to get a ak gas tube

I did it, it works great.
