frontier737 0
I am picking up my Saiga 5.45 today after work and plan on ordering my conversion kit from CSS soon. I am going to order the SAIGA INTRAFUSE TRI-RAIL- DARK EARTH http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-402/TAPCO-SAIGA-TRI-dsh-RAIL-HANDGUARD/Detail My question: are there any modifcations I have to do to install the rail? I plan on ordering the rail and the converstion kit 2? If anyone has one installed I'd love to see a picture. Thanks!
frontier737 0
Now I just found this: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/70114-ccs-quad-rail-review-and-install/ Because the computer at work will not download the pics I'll have to wait till I get home. Next time I'll look around better prior to posting a question.
SergeK 15
Get the Midwest Industries US Palm Front Handguards and a Front handguard Modified retainer from CSS. This is my Romanian 5.56 with the MI USPalm handguards... Top and lower. Top is made for Aimpoint T1/H1 or a Primary Arms Microdot. Co Witnesses about 1/3. frontier737 0
Thanks for the photos Serge! Did you need to install a new gas tube?
SergeK 15
That is my Romanian. Comes with a regular AK gas tube. I am actually not sure if you need a regular gas tube or if a saiga will work.
Battosaii 99
dont get the midwest industries hand gaurd it clamps to the barrel and messes with the barrel harmonics so you loose accuracy at longer distances
