acer 10
I'm rebluing an old model 583 JC Higging for a co-worker. Just thought I'd make a thread about it incase anyone is planning to do theirs. I'm using Brownell's slow rust bluing for the rusting agent. before Edited September 28, 2011 by acer

echoside190 127
I like it, slow rust bluing really gives it a pretty color. I've always liked the high polish blued look on older firearms, it's hard to beat it when it looks like blue/black glass. Good job man!
Scott Kenny 144
Yeah, my buddy has some old military rifles (SMLEs, Moisins, and even an old Arisaka). Something about that vintage of rifle just looks better with a good, gloss blued finish.
